Setting the Stage

Today started out rough for me. I felt scattered and unproductive, jumping from task to task without accomplishing much of anything. It was one of those days where discouragement crept in and tried to take over. Then, I listened to a replay of Wake Up Legendary, by Legendary Marketer,  and it was just the inspiration I needed to get back on track with a more positive and “let’s try this again” mindset. It’s not like it was a miracle fix or anything, but it reminded me that there are other people, other entrepreneurs, going through the same mental blocks or hiccups if you will, and that was comforting. It also reignited my drive to get some work done. This experience underscored the importance of mindset—how we think shapes how we live and what we do or don’t do. Let’s explore how cultivating a positive, happy mindset aesthetic can help you create the fulfilling life you desire and deserve.

What is a Mindset Aesthetic?

A mindset aesthetic refers to the intentional cultivation of thoughts, habits, and environments that align with your personal goals and values. Think of it as curating your inner world the same way you might curate a visually appealing Instagram feed.

For me, a happy mindset aesthetic is about:

– Using positive self-affirmations to boost confidence.

– Embracing change and growth.

– Aligning my daily actions with my long-term values to create a fulfilling life.

Example: I imagine my ideal day—a clean, organized workspace, uplifting music playing in the background, and a clear plan for tackling my goals. I want this mental picture to become a blueprint for how I structure my environment and my mindset. This is a work in progress, I am nowhere even close to having this as my reality, but like I said, it’s my “ideal day.”

The Benefits of a Good Mindset Aesthetic

Why is a mindset aesthetic so impactful? For me, it’s about more than just feeling good. It lays the foundation for lasting success and happiness.

Key Benefits:

– Improved Mental Health: Positive thoughts help me stay resilient during tough times.

– Enhanced Productivity: A clear, focused mindset enables me to make steady progress, even on challenging days. This day for instance, I had planned on writing two blogs and creating and scheduling 20 pins. Well, I got the pins scheduled and that was about it. At least it was something and I didn’t end the day with nothing accomplished.

– Stronger Relationships: When my mindset is positive, I communicate better and nurture healthier connections. Meaning I don’t take my frustrations out on my husband, for which he is extremely appreciative.

Daily Affirmations to Create a Healthy Mindset

Daily affirmations have been a game-changer for me. On days when self-doubt creeps in, they help reframe my thoughts and keep me motivated.

Examples of Positive Self-Affirmations:

– “I am capable of achieving great things.”

– “I attract opportunities that align with my goals.”

– “I am worthy of love, success, and happiness.”

How I Practice Daily Affirmations:

  1. I take a moment in a quiet place away from all distractions (husband and dogs).
  2. I speak them aloud while looking in the mirror.
  3. I repeat them throughout the day as needed, especially when I feel my confidence wavering.

The book, The Miracle Morning, by Hal Elrod, really helped me learn more about the power of daily affirmations and how they can change your mindset. Getting the app and doing it every morning for a month, solidified the practice for me.

Trying New Things: Opening the Door to Growth

Stepping outside my comfort zone hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been worth it. Adopting the “trying new things aesthetic” means approaching challenges with curiosity and an open mind.

Ways I Try New Things:

– Learn a new skill: It seems like this journey into digital and affiliate marketing has me learning several new skills everyday, such as learning SEO for my blog.

– Take a new path when walking the dogs and discovering a new part of the town. Quite the adventure!

– Meet new people: Networking has never been easy for me and it’s pushed me to grow as a person and as a business woman. You never know who you can serve or how they may be helpful to you.

Embrace the "That Girl Mindset"

The “that girl” mindset aesthetic resonates with me because it’s not about perfection—it’s about progress. It’s about showing up as the best version of myself, every day.

How I Embody the That Girl Mindset:

– Morning Routine: Yoga, daily walks, and affirmations set the tone for my day.

– Healthy Habits: Balanced meals (I’ve been adamant about hitting my fiber and protein needs for over a couple months now, and I’m feeling great!) and regular exercise keep my energy levels up.

– Organized Environment: I’ve found that a clean and clutter-free space boosts my clarity and productivity. I will clean my area first before I start working.

How to Sustain a Better Mindset Aesthetic

Cultivating a happy mindset aesthetic is one thing; sustaining it is another. Here’s how I’ve learned to stay consistent:

Tips to Maintain Your Mindset Aesthetic:

  1. Reassess Regularly: I review my goals and mindset daily to ensure they’re aligned.
  2. Set clear and precise boundaries: I’m very direct with my husband about not bothering me when I’m in WORK mode. No distractions, means no distractions. “I don’t care what you’re laughing at on Instagram”.
  3. Celebrate Small Wins: Every step forward is worth acknowledging and giving yourself a high five!
  4. Stay Curious: I’m a curious person by nature so this is an easy one for me. But if you’re not, that’s ok, just try to make it a point to learn something new every week.
