What Time Freedom Means to me is more than just having flexible hours or working from home—it’s about designing a life where work supports my dreams instead of defining them. The term gets tossed around a lot in personal development circles, but what does it really mean? For me, it’s about owning my day, being intentional with how I spend my time, and building a business that aligns with the lifestyle I truly want.
Mornings That Matter
Time freedom starts with how I greet the day. I wake up early with my husband, not because I have to punch a clock, but because I cherish that quiet time together. Seeing him off to work is a ritual that anchors my morning, filled with love and presence. Before I step outside, I ease into the day with some light stretches and positive affirmations. There’s something powerful about starting the morning by grounding myself physically and mentally—reminding myself of the life I’m manifesting.
Chasing the Sun (Literally)
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Next comes one of my favorite parts of the day: taking the dogs out for an early morning walk. There’s nothing quite like catching those precious rays of early sunshine. The soft glow, the crisp air—it’s like nature’s way of saying, “You’ve got this.” Beyond the peaceful vibe, early sunlight offers real health perks: it helps regulate your circadian rhythm, improving sleep quality, and boosts vitamin D production, which supports bone health and immune function. Those moments are simple, yet they feel luxurious because they’re mine to savor. No rush, no deadlines looming over me. Just me, the pups, and the world waking up.
Sweat, Sauna, and Self-Care

After the walk, it’s sauna time—a ritual that’s become non-negotiable in my routine. I prefer infrared saunas, but this portable steam sauna (which we have at my husband’s work apartment) does an excellent job. It’s not just about the physical benefits; it’s a space to reflect, breathe, reset, and most importantly, during these cold days in Iowa – warm up! This intentional pause sets the tone for my workday, reminding me that self-care isn’t a luxury—it’s part of my productivity strategy.
The Work I Choose
When it’s time to “clock in,” I dive into my online business. This is where time freedom takes on a different flavor—one that’s not always glamorous. The truth? Productivity can be slow, and learning curves are real. Some days feel like a grind, filled with blog posts that won’t write themselves, pins to design, videos to edit, and strategies to tweak. But here’s the thing: it’s my grind. I get to choose the projects I work on, the pace I set, and the direction I’m heading.
The Bigger Picture

All of this—the early mornings, the dog walks, the sauna sessions, the creative hustle—is moving me toward one big, audacious goal: financial freedom. Not just for me, but for my husband too. My dream is to make enough consistent income so that he can look at his job as optional. Imagine that—working because you want to, not because you have to. That’s the heart of time freedom.
But here’s the thing: this goal will look different for everyone. Maybe for you, it’s about traveling the world, spending more time with family, or pursuing a passion project. Whatever it is, I bet there’s a common thread: the desire to live life on your terms. To do what you want, when you want, with the people who matter most.
Manifesting the Life You Want

Time freedom isn’t just about schedules—it’s about mindset. It’s about manifesting the life you want, not through wishful thinking, but through daily actions that align with your dreams. Every blog post I write, every pin I create, every small step I take—it’s all part of the bigger picture.
So, what does time freedom mean to you? Maybe it’s not about saunas or early morning walks. Maybe it’s about having the space to explore, create, rest, or connect. Whatever it is, I hope you’re working toward it, one intentional day at a time.
Because at the end of the day, time freedom isn’t just about having more hours—it’s about making those hours count.
